Bluey's Disco Ball - Fundraiser
BLUEY'S LITTLE DISCO BALL - in honour of Bluey the rescue doggie.
About this event Bluey was just 12 months old when she was rescued from what is believed to be a life spent with a backyard breeder, likely living in the shed. As is often the case with these illegal, dangerous and abusive environments for animals, Bluey had been put through a litter of puppies which she was too young for. She was then discarded and ended up being rescued by a volunteer at SALLY'S RESCUE in Melbourne. A team of animal lovers, Sally's Rescue, a foster carer (who fell in love with Bluey) and vets had been gearing Bluey up for her future HAPPY LIFE. After surgery, to help her breathing and after being desexed, she died suddenly and tragically. Bluey never got to have her 'happy ever after'. Bluey's Little Disco Ball is a charity event to raise money for Sally's Rescue and awareness to all about the dangers of these backyard breeders who are making thousands of dollars by using and abusing precious animals like Bluey.
**Alcoholic drinks available to purchase. Non-alcoholic drinks & nibbles provided. Raffle tickets to purchase at $10 each. Kids and dogs welcome for free!

Exhibition: Simeon John
For the months of June & July, Edward.S is proud to be exhibiting "Skin," an evocative and thought-provoking exhibition by the renowned artist Simeon John. This exhibition delves deep into the intricate layers of identity, culture, and human experience through the medium of art.
Unveiling "Skin": An Exhibition by Simeon John
This series called “Skin” is an exploration of identity. The cast are people who have wandered into my world, by chance or providence. They all chose what they wanted to express and these images capture where our conversations have led. The pursuit of identity inspires us to ask deep questions. Throughout my life I’ve harnessed art to help me discover layers of myself during the process of capturing the identity of others. Navigating dark places and the turbulence that is parked within us, embracing the unexpected and the dance of vulnerability. Unveiling the masks we wear and arm wrestling with the others we find underneath, collecting all the pieces of us we excavate, the beautiful and the broken. All part of the process in the making of “Skin”. Contact us to book a private viewing.

Sip On and Enjoy: Guests will enjoy Southern Peach Iced Tea, hors d'oeuvres, and bubbles on arrival, and (if you dare) we'll be selling 'Moonshine' watermelon cocktail, inspired by Keenzia's late Uncle Alonzo aka 'Zo' Budd - as Keenzia teases, "the mastermind of all things counterfeit".
